The Shadow Sorrows
The days go past, as the sand falls down.
The lonesome grains left still.
There is no hope for the shy ones left,
Those that have no courage.
They sit so still that not a sound is made.
While the daily crowd walk by.
And whisper silently there sorrows true,
Thou no one hears them cry.
A hand is stretched and a finger too
To a onlooker walking near,
But alas they evade the lonesome grip,
And again no one does hear.
The days go on and all have left,
That place they used to be.
But still there is a shadow there,
And yet,
Still no one does see
